This lovely detatched home set in spacious grounds off Queensferry Road has received an extensive renovation.

It was the client brief to develop on each side of the property to significantly increase floorspace. A major requirement for Mark was the need for a large garage space for working purposes. Achieving this allowed us to create a space above to accommodate two equal sized and spacious bedrooms, each with a dormer window.

This meant a new link was formed between the existing and new accommodation on the first floor. At the main entrance to the property a small porch was formed to create a more central focus.

On the opposite side of the property a smaller single storey accommodation was formed to create a family area to the rear garden. Large glazed areas create a well light space with sliding door access onto a raised timber deck.

The roof lines of these extended areas tie seamlessly in with the existing building to create a striking overall elevation.
